Welcome to UthDesk, Pakistan’s first collaborative academic social platform for university students. By accessing or using UthDesk, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the platform (website or mobile app), you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use UthDesk.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be a student currently enrolled in a recognized university or college

• Be at least 16 years old

• Provide accurate personal and academic information

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• All activities that occur under your account

• Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use

4. Content Sharing & Usage

You can upload, post, or share academic content such as notes, assignments, discussions, and resources. You agree that:

• Your content does not violate any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws

• You give UthDesk the right to display, distribute, and promote your shared content within the platform

• You will not post offensive, irrelevant, or harmful material

5. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Share false information, spam, or phishing links

• Harass, threaten, or harm others

• Post explicit, violent, or hateful content

• Impersonate other individuals or institutions

• Use bots or automation to manipulate activity or rankings

6. Community Guidelines

All users must follow the Community Guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

7. Moderation & Reporting

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates our policies

• Suspend or delete accounts without prior notice in case of serious violations

• Use automated tools or manual moderators to ensure content safety

8. Gamification System

UthDesk includes a points and ranking system to encourage healthy participation. Points and ranks have no real-world monetary value, and we may reset or adjust them without notice if misuse is detected.

9. Data Privacy

Your data is stored securely. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, branding, and design elements on UthDesk are the property of UthDesk (unless user-contributed). You may not copy, reuse, or reproduce them without permission.

11. Service Availability

We strive for 24/7 access, but we may need to pause services temporarily for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues. We are not liable for any data loss or missed activity during such times.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
